what is geoff.sucks?
geoff.sucks is a fan-maintained website that links to the regulation podcast & related sites. both the base domain geoff.sucks and the page geoff.sucks/pod redirect to the regulation patreon (base domain has a message and is timed to wait 7 seconds, /pod is instant)
why is geoff.sucks?
in episode 17 of the regulation podcast, at 26:01 in the youtube version, gavin brings up .sucks domains and eventually they talk about geoff.sucks. they didn't seem committed to purchasing any of them so i thought it would be funny if suddenly geoff.sucks worked
what is geoff.sucks/fun and geoff.sucks/all?
geoff.sucks/f(**kface)un(iverse) has a button that randomly cycles through links which point to things in the f**kface / regulation universe. geoff.sucks/(thew)all(oflinks) shows a randomly-ordered table of all the links
is geoff.sucks affiliated with any of the linked sites?
no; i receive no incentives or compensation from any site to link to them; all the links are chosen by me based on if the content relates to the podcast
why are all the links 3 letters?
stupid gimmick, but happy coincidence: it actually made programming the random link button easier
why do some things render poorly with some obscure screen sizes?
i am relatively new to web development with minimal prior experience; these issues will be worked out as i have time to address them. the real question is, why are you sizing your browser so oddly?
the changelog at /chg mentions something but it doesnt work for me. what do i do?
the host i use has documented that changes can take up to 48 hours (2 days) to propagate after i upload them to the server. if after that time you still dont see the new functionality, contact me using the info in the footer of every page! you can also try clearing your browser's cache
what if i want to help you figure some problems out?
please contact me using the links at the bottom of each page!
are there ads?
no ads, ever. i pay for this site out of my own pocket
what data is being collected?
the only data being collected is visitor data, which is standard by the company that i use to host this domain. the data includes unique visitor counts and what countries they are from, for example; nothing intrusive
what if the crew wants the domain?
i have offered it to them free of charge and they are aware; all they have to do is respond back to me that they want it
